SS American Star - Das Wrack der America

This old German documentary from 1999, focuses on the events surrounding the former American ocean liner SS America (by then called the American Star) after she ran aground off Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in 1994.

It features remarkable footage of the ship, including the looting of the interior and the wreck being lit up for the first time in years.
