Gasoline powered cars are wonderful for many reasons. They are cheap, can fill up easily and sound good... usually. And the same applied in circa 1920. That is the reason why gas powered cars beat out electrics and steam cars for over 100 years. What the next 100 years brings we will see. But a major advantage provided by electric cars in this era is that they were easy to drive. Notice in this video that there are not gears being shifted, no gears being crunched; it is all perfectly quiet. Only the soft push of a lever makes this in 1920 Milburn ease forward.
