The passenger side electric window switch situated in the driver's side door just ceased to operate the down function and as I keep one of these units in the glovebox I just replaced it.

This switch unit has been replaced in the past due to the driver's side window switch failing and the window being stuck in the open position. It is due to this event that I keep a spare in the glovebox
