This isn't related to my upcoming game Moral Spirit, but rather a dialogue system that I am working on. It uses the timeline system in Unity with custom dialogue tracks which pause on certain points of the dialogue for emphasis.

I plan to add more to this system, such as portraits, speaker names, input to continue the dialogue, multiple choices and the such like.

The scene in the video isn't from a game I'm working on, I wrote it specifically to test this dialogue system (although I had a blast writing it). The sprites from one of my games, Bounty Hunter III, (https://pixel-brownie-software.itch.i...) are used in this sequence.

Update 02/10/2022 - The source code of this system is now availble on GitHub. You are free to download it and use it in your own projects. You can even make it better.
