The first of two maternally incubated clutches hatched this week. This clutch had a poor hatch rate of 3 out of 8. As I explained in the last video in this series, I was concerned about this clutch starting a couple weeks ago. I had experienced a power loss earlier in incubation. This week, some of eggs turned off color, and I was concerned about the whole clutch. The ones that did not make it ranges from barely formed to mostly formed. The next clutch is due to pip this week and looking better. More to come.
