In accordance with the voice of God through prophetic ministration at the just concluded 48th LAWNA International Convention of The Apostolic Church Nigeria LAWNA Territory, National Vice-President/LAWNA Territorial Chairman Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh JP has declared Ebute-Metta Assembly as Bethel.

Pastor (Dr) Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh JP made the declaration during the Thanksgiving service held on Sunday August 11, 2024, at TACN Ebute-Metta Assembly, 42 Cemetery Street Ebute-metta Lagos to appreciate God for the success recorded at the end of the international convention.

While making the declaration alongside the other Principal officers of the Territory, The LAWNA Chairman read the book of Genesis 28 to the congregation in order to affirm the promise of God for the source of the Church.

The LAWNA Chairman with others principal officers namely TACN LAWNA Vice-Chairman Pastor David Oluwasegun Ajibade, Administrative Secretary Pastor Moses Oluwole Ogunibe, Deputy Administrative Secretary Pastor Amon Bonsy Geoffrey, Finance Secretary Pastor Samuel Abejide Akolo LAWNA Lead Prophet Pastor Nathaniel O. Awojide and Lagos Area Superintendent Pastor James Effiong Okon prayed to declare the Assembly as Bethel according to the voice of God.

Pastor Senior Gabriel Okpako Uyeh JP urged all the members to allow the presence of Holy Spirit in their lives so that the promise of God for the assembly can come to realization in due time.

In his short sermon, Pastor Uyeh reminded the saints the theme of the LAWNA International Convention ''For we all must appear before the judgement seat of Christ'' 2 Corinthians 5:10 to always remember that judgement of God is inevitable for all creatures. He said everyone will stand before the judgement seat to receive the reward of what he or she has done.

It would be recalled that The Apostolic Church Nigeria Ebute-metta located at 42 Cemetery Street became the National Headquarters of the Church in 1933 after the creation of four administrative centres namely Lagos, Ilesha, Zaria and Calabar in Nigeria.
