This video features my contribution to the biggest wargaming collaboration to ever happen on Youtube! The building of Minas Tirith, the White City, Capital of Gondor, built to true scale as a gaming board for the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game. I was conscripted by ‪@Zorpazorp‬ to build a Strategium tower for the project.

The lower level strategium is one of the most iconic structures upon the lampwright street of Minas Tirith and in wartime one of the most significant. This towering spire houses several council chambers where meetings of garrison commanders can be held in a location that is close to the outermost defences of the city itself enabling the Lords in charge to receive precious intel from outriders before they make the long journey up to the citadel.
Close to the second gate, it even affords the Kings and Stewards of Gondor a forward command post in the lowest level if they wish to lead the defence of the White City in person, that can be quickly abandoned, and a safe retreat made to the upper levels should the outer wall become overrun.
