Complete NASCAR Blowover Compilation (1975-2021)

Описание к видео Complete NASCAR Blowover Compilation (1975-2021)

Within these 19 minutes is (nearly) every blowover/airtime that has been filmed in NASCAR's top three divisions between the years of 1975 when the first known blowover happened, and the end of the Cup series' Gen 6 bodystyle in 2021. Each clip contains the year, driver, and race name that it occurred in, and is ordered chronologically from first to most recent.

The three exclusions:
1) 1979 Daytona 500 - Donnie Allison. Not included because I wasn't 100% certain air actually got under the car, or if the rear of his machine just got hooked atop the nose of Bobby Allison's machine.
2) 1997 Daytona 500 - Greg Sacks. Did not find/remember this one until I was in the last 10% of video editing, including it would have taken at least another week of fixing to include properly.
3) 2011 AMP Energy 500 - AJ Allmendinger. On the fence with this one. Air does get under AJ's car but for an extremely brief moment and it has no effect on the course of his spin.

Inevitably someone will complain about the music or want to needle me about including something they feel shouldn't be included. In which case, I encourage you to make your own video and editing, or at least make a playlist recording every blowover/airtime, as I sure am not remaking this. I don't care for NASCAR like I once did because of the playoffs format, incessant power cuts, their cluelessness on how downforce works, and inept officiating. Hence why since 2015 I've only made serious efforts to watch the Daytona, Dega, and Darlington races, as Indycar, LeMans, and Formula e have my interest now.

Many thanks to the hundreds of people who made this possible. Including:
Video capturers and uploaders, even if capturing/uploading is way easier now then in the 2000's I will always appreciate your efforts for the sake of historical recordings.
racing-reference dot info, for enabling me to track down exact dates and driver/race names.
‪@jbaskinger41‬ AND ‪@OfficialKiwiFrankencop‬ , both who did a great job highlighting the major incidents in the years since I stopped following the sport. Without you two I would have missed alot of incidents that happened between 2015 and 2021.
@Eric Cardona (tag not working for your name?) for supporting my channel for years, even after I went dark.
And lastly ‪@TarbyRocks‬ , who has made music that has had a massive impact on my life, and allowed me way back in 2015 to use his pieces in my videos. While you may have gone silent since 2016, let it be known that some of us will never forget your work.
