Along the way, we'll make pitstops for snacks and a lunch break to keep our energy up. Finally, arriving in Ambositra, we'll get dropped off near a petrol station. A friendly face, a friend's friend, awaits to pick me up! We'll take a walk, experiencing the first glimpses of Ambositra - a hilly region renowned for its handcrafted treasures.

Next, it's shopping time! Since I'll be staying alone in a whole farmhouse, a local market visit is essential to stock up on supplies. But wait, a twist! Upon reaching the house, darkness greets us - there's no electricity! But fear not, the resourceful locals come to the rescue and get things lit up for a comfortable night's sleep.

Waking up refreshed, it's time to delve into village life and see how rice cultivation forms the backbone of the community. Witness the hard work and dedication it takes, which in turn keeps the villagers remarkably fit and healthy.

Our adventure doesn't stop there! We'll explore a traditional Malagasy bungalow, a truly unique experience. We'll also meet friendly farmers tending their fields, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables.
