The Battle of Hastings (replacement) Wilhelm Steinitz v Curt von Bardeleben 1895

Hi people, this time we go back 129 years.
This chess tournament was held in Hastings in 1895 .Ten of the Finest players of the times were competing,along with another twelve players. This was only one match, but one of the best,at the tournament.It ended in controversy with Curt Von Bardeleben walking out much to the amazement of everyone .Apparently, he sent his resignation letter later that day.Then Wilhelm steinitz the following morning demonstrated how he had planned to finish the game. when you think Wilhelm Steinitz was sixty years of age and on his decline, it truly is a brilliant chess game.
This was the last of my videos to replace and add notation to the video that leaves just 30 with the snare drum start, which Being too boys own I stopped ,any of you not alive in the fiftys won't get that.😄
