President-elect Trump confirmed that he's prepared to declare a national emergency and potentially use military assets as part of a mass deportation effort. Trump responded to a Truth Social post by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, who said that Trump is reportedly "prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program."

Spirit Airlines onMonday said it's filed for bankruptcy protection and will attempt to reboot as it struggles to recover from the pandemic-caused swoon in travel, stiffer competition from bigger carriers, and a failed attempt to sell the airline to JetBlue.
