Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay , a great writer of Bengal.
Debanandapur is the birth place of the
novelist Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. His dwelling house is now a library named Sarat Smriti Pathagar and a museum housing his belongings. It is 2 km from Bandel Junction railway station.

How to reach - Reach Bandel station. From there take an auto bound for Debanandapur. it's 5 minutes walk from the auto stand.
From Adisaptagram station you can take toto or auto bound for Bandel via. Debanandapur to reach here.
If someone is coming from Kolkata then reach Naihati junction by train and cross hooghly river from naihati ferry ghat . And take toto or auto to debanandapur it will take 20-25 minutes to reach there.
