Firefighters Battle Huge Auto Yard Fire | Phoenix

09.13.2022 | 12:20 AM | PHOENIX - Phoenix Fire crews responded to a report of an unknown fire near 35th Avenue and Buckeye Road around 12:20 AM Tuesday morning.

A single fire engine responded to investigate and located a well involved fire consuming a commercial structure and multiple vehicles.

Crews called for a balance of a working fire followed by a first alarm.

Crews deployed several hand lines, mater streams and a ladder for fire attack.

Downed power lines posed a hazard as crews worked their way through the cramped and cluttered auto yard.

Fire crews called fire control shortly before 1:00 AM.

Fire investigators are currently on scene working to determine what caused the blaze.

No injuries have been reported.
