Unboxing: X-Pro2 Graphite Edition

Fujifilm has been pretty stubborn when it comes to their flagship camera body. We were told that the X-Pro series will never have an articulating screen, a booster grip, or a built in flash. Even 4K video was suppressed on the X-Pro2, even though the sensor and processor is capable of it. Although all other X series bodies come with two finishes, the original X-Pro1 only came in black. When the X-Pro2 was announced last spring, again it was only available in black. When reviewers and customers alike asked why, Fujifilm made it clear that their flagship pro body would only come in one pro-like colour... until now.

Yes, there was some compromise since it's a darker and more stealth 'Graphite' finish; unlike the brighter, flashier 'Graphite Silver' finish on it's little brother, the X-T2. I wanted to compare the two finishes at the same time, but the X-Pro2 Graphite Edition arrived first at Fujifilm Canada HQ. Instead of waiting, I decided to go ahead and unbox the X-Pro2 kit first. Other than the finish, the Graphite Edition kit (X-Pro2, XF 23mm f/2 WR, LH-XF35-2 hood, hotshot cover) is the same as the standard version. Please don't take this video too seriously, I'm just playing around and having fun. Just sit back, relax and enjoy this unboxing video.
