‘Chalo Atmakur’ rally: Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh put under preventive detention

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 11 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Nara Lokesh have been put under preventive detention at their house. TDP leaders and workers were stopped by police and taken into preventive custody in Andhra Pradesh’s Amaravati on September 11. They were trying to go to former AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s residence and were stopped by Andhra Pradesh Police. Police have arrested them in view of party’s call for ‘Chalo Atmakur’ rally alleging political violence by YSR Congress Party.
