Georgian President Calls for New Parliamentary Elections in the Country

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili announced the creation of a council to prepare new parliamentary elections, writes NewsGeorgia. On December 29, the inauguration of Mikheil Kavelashvili, who was elected by the Electoral College as the new head of state, will take place. According to Zurabishvili, if an agreement on holding elections is not reached by the inauguration day, this will lead to the fall of the regime.
