i30N Facelift Headunit (10.25") install into Pre-Facelift (8") | Issues & Fixes

Описание к видео i30N Facelift Headunit (10.25") install into Pre-Facelift (8") | Issues & Fixes

Prior to installing notes: You will not be able to edit your rev matching settings in N custom after installing it - REGARDLESS IF YOURS CAME FROM A MANUAL FACELIFT i30N. You should select what rev matching setting you want to use mostly on the prefacelift headunit before removing it. I did Sport and if I want to use sport+ rev matching then I can go into full N mode. You can always install the old headunit back in to change N custom settings for rev matching.

Credit where it's due: Thank you to the Facebook group Hyundai N Performance Owners Club Australia for always having a bunch of resources. (  / 1474892669264371  )

For some reason even if the headunit is from a manual facelift i30n, the headunit will think it's a DCT. There is no current workaround.

The battery warning tends to come up when you're stationary, not as often when driving. Still haven't found a solution to get rid of it completely yet.
Update: I managed to get into engineering mode thanks to the below video. Couldn't find any settings to tinker with unfortunately.
