Professor Rachel Yehuda is the Director of the Parsons Research Center for Psychedelic Healing at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC and plays a fundamental role in the current psychedelic research around veterans and PTSD. Gov. Rick Perry is an American politician and the former governor of Texas. who served as the 14th United States secretary of energy from 2017 to 2019. Perry has argued Ibogaine could be an incredible treatment for addiction and PTSD in veterans. And more than that. He now dedicates his life to the bring psychedelics forward in the public domain. We discuss the coming situation in the US regarding psychedelics and why a bipartisan model could be strong solution for rescheduling psychedelics, but also to bring healing therapies to the US.
