I made this video a couple of years back for my CE 445: Advanced Geotechnical Engineering course. This course is an undergraduate third-semester Geotechnical Engineering course. I cover several topics that are typically seen in a Masters’ level Advanced Soil Mechanics Course.

In this video, we discuss several aspects of determining consolidation properties from laboratory data. Most notably, how to generate strain vs. effective stress plots.
