Lamahatta Eco Park & Triveni ।। A Small Hamlet Near Darjeeling

Lamahata: Lamahatta is located at an altitude of about 5700 feet and at a distance of 19 km from Darjeeling hill town. Lamahatta has been developed as an eco-tourism place in late 2012.The chief minister Ms.Mamata Banerjee was so enamoured by the beauty of this place,that she took the initiative to devolop this place as a tourist spot with the help of local and forest protection teams.

Triveni: The view of the river Rangeet meeting Teesta is an awesome treat for the nature lovers. And any such reward doesn't come easy. You will need to travel a bit from Darjeeling to experience this
confluence. The river Rangeet with its deep green and crystal clear water gushes in and meets the forcefull mountain stream Teesta at a point called Triveni.
