Dr. Andrea Venet is a percussionist, soloist, educator and composer specializing in contemporary and classical genres. She is currently an Associate Professor of Percussion and Department Head at the University of North Florida, where she leads the UNF Percussion Ensemble, teaches applied classes, pedagogy, methods, and percussive literature. Her creative activity includes the performance, composition and commissioning of new works.
