Hi and welcome to my latest video. Todays video is Part 1 of 2 on intervals and chord building. Part 1 will focus on intervals and part 2 on chord building. Learning how to recognize intervals is one of the most useful skills to develop as a musician. It helps you to better understand scales, chords, arpeggios etc, helps train your musical ear, and enables you to learn or transcribe songs much faster. If you write, (or want to write), your own songs than it's vital to understand intervals and chord building theory.
