Fun Run #7 for Rush of the Miniexploders on Foreman Driller for the game Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. This is a new series I'm starting up with the goal to do one run a week (or 2) where the goal is to let loose and do absolutely absurd things. No holding back! I'll be using all my best in slot gear on top of picking all the OP artifacts. More often this will be done on Biome Masteries, but I'll likely mix it up over time and do other dive types.

The origin of this run is a Reddit post where a fellow miner was asking for help with an LO...that was not the current week's LO! Turns out they had the system date set incorrectly which DRGS uses to generate the seeds for VCs and LOs. Their date was from the second week of December 2019. The resulting LO looked incredibly spicy and I decided to run it. Reddit post here:   / lethal_operation_fx817918  

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are some weird quirks I found that seem to be from if you change your system date to a date very far in the past. For one, I had to put Steam into offline mode for the game to even run (probably a Steam Cloud issue), and I also ended up having to replace my save files with backups after I had completed the LO and went back to the current date.

WEIRD NOTE: This LO uses the same map generation seed as the VC for today...which is a crazy coincidence. Up until now, I had never seen repeating seeds for the VCs/LOs.

The LO shows as # FX-817-918 (which the tag has appeared before) and was on Azure Weald. You start with the Cryo Grenade and can only equip cold or beam weapons. The mutators were as follows:

Strong Calves - Movement speed +10%
Rush of the Swarm - Enemies +45% movement speed
Combined Reload - All your weapons reload together
Low Inventory - Reduces the amount of upgrade choices in the shop by 2

For the build, I ignored the Cryo Grenades and went Wave Cooker, Cryo Drones, and Sludge Pump. This is a very optimal build to offset the Combined Reload mutator based on the starting lifetimes and reload. The Wave Cooker was the carry weapon, while the Cryo Drones provided crowd control. The Sludge Pump was to provide corrode (damage buff). By going with these weapons, I was able to get the lifetime and reload times for the Wave Cooker and Cryo Drones very close, such that the downtime at most was a few seconds (and ended up being sub 1 second by the end). I didn't invest heavily into the Sludge Pump, but it was more a support weapon anyways. Artifact spread was great!
