Welcome to North Cyprus – a place where only one country in the world (Turkey) officially recognizes its existence. While the rest of the world doesn’t acknowledge it as an independent state, North Cyprus functions like any other country. It has its own borders, government, economy, democratic elections, and has been around for over 40 years!

I traveled to North Cyprus to lift the veil on this fascinating "non-country" and show you a side of Cyprus many probably never knew existed. With stunning natural landscapes, a rich historical tapestry, and a vibrant social scene, North Cyprus is an undiscovered gem, a wildly beautiful corner of the Mediterranean waiting to be explored!
