To record your screen with Streamlabs OBS, follow these steps:

Install Streamlabs OBS:
Download from streamlabs.com/slobs, install, and launch as administrator.

Create a Scene:
Open Streamlabs OBS. A default scene is usually set up.
If needed, click "+" in the "Scenes" panel (bottom-left) to add a new scene.

Add Display Capture:
In the "Sources" panel, click "+".
Select "Display Capture" (or "Window Capture" for a specific app).

Name it, click "Add Source", then "Done". Choose your monitor and confirm.
Set Recording Settings:
Click Settings (bottom-right) - Output:

Set "Recording Quality" to "Same as stream" or "High Quality".
Choose a recording path (e.g., C:\Videos).
Select format (e.g., MP4).

Use default encoder (NVENC for NVIDIA GPUs is recommended).
In Video, ensure "Base (Canvas) Resolution" matches your screen (e.g., 1920x1080) and set FPS (e.g., 30).

Start Recording:
Click "Record" (bottom-right, red circle icon).
Stop by clicking it again. The file saves to your chosen path.

Optional Tweaks:
Audio: Add "Desktop Audio" or "Mic/Aux" via Sources - "+". Adjust in the Audio Mixer.

Crop/Resize: Right-click the source, use "Transform" or "Filters".
Hotkeys: Set in Settings - Hotkeys for quick recording control.

Verify Recording:

Check the file in your recording path. Play to confirm quality.
