Wrong Planchet, Wrong Coin Sheet Stock? Chart with the weights of coins, pre-1982

ATTENTION-read this description. I don't know if I fully explain the chart, but the left side up-down can also describe the size of the original planchet also. For instance, if it is a half dollar coin that you have, but is struck on a quarter planchet, to read the chart you would have to go to the left side, look at 25 cents, and then go to 25c clad on the top, so it would be the weight of a normal quarter with the half design, 5.67 grams.(Of course the outer edge of the design would be cut off and thinner than normal). If it is a half, with the planchet cut in half size from quarter stock sheets, then drop down to .50 on the left, and go over to quarter clad stock on the top, 9.03 grams.(Would have normal half dollar design, not cut off, but would be thinner) Hope this explains it.

Also, this chart doesn't take to account that the US Mint also produces coins for different countries, so the possibility of US coins being struck on foreign planchets or foreign coin stock does exist.
