Catching up in Zambia with Teaching at the Right Level

Описание к видео Catching up in Zambia with Teaching at the Right Level

The Catch Up project in Zambia provides learners who fall behind in primary education with a much-needed opportunity to catch up to their peers through play, thanks to Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL). TaRL is a playful teaching methodology that helps learners master basic skills in literacy and numeracy by ‘teaching at the right level’ – i.e. grouping children by learning level, rather than by age/grade, and using interactive teaching learning methods to accelerate acquisition of foundational skills.

Thanks to the Ministry of General Education in Zambia, TaRL Africa, Pratham, the LEGO Foundation and VVOB.
