In this presentation, the speaker presents the general analysis of the political economy of AIIB. AIIB is the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, focuses on roads, rails and power grids. She explains the infrastructure problem that the world is facing, and analyze the political reasons of China’s initiation of AIIB in the name of solving the problem.

Jing Li is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science & International Relations at University of Delaware. Her study mainly focuses on Comparative Politics, Chinese PolitIcs and East Asia Study. Find out more at
