This is a precious and fragile heritage, protected by a few dedicated men and women. Kombo, a Babongo pygmy hunter, is one such guardian of the forest. Armed with a bow, he respectfully provides for his tribe’s needs. Similarly, Juste, a young city dweller, reconnects with his culture by seeking guidance from the forest spirits and undergoing a spectacular rite of passage.
Through powerful encounters in stunning landscapes, the third installment of the documentary series 'The Sentinels of Africa' explores the unique connection between humans and the natural environment.
