Fuzz comparison Big Muff vs Maestro Fuzz FZ-M MODERN Setting

This is a quick comparison of a big 2008 BIG MUFF PI and a Maestro FUZZ TONE FZ-M. The FZ-M has two fuzz settings 'MODERN' or 'CLASSIC'. For this video I kept the pedal in the 'MODERN' setting.

In the first part of the video I keep the TONE control the same and change the SUSTAIN / ATTACK setting and in the second part, I change the TONE control setting.

For full disclosure, I had to use a limiter during mixing to reduce the volume differences between the two pedals caused by varying the SUSTAIN / ATTACK.

I created a piece of music to demonstrate the fuzz pedals on a choppy rhythm part, sustained chords and a lead guitar part.

I used a Fender USA stratocaster into a Marshall JTM-45 for the guitar parts and a Fender mexican jazz bass DI'd.
