Mega Man X, Ep. 10: Sigma Stage 1

With all Mavericks defeated and Sigma's location finally revealed, X and Zero go in to infiltrate his fortress and put a stop to his wretched plans. Once inside the palace X's potential is put to the test, traversing through twisted halls and battling endless waves of Mechaniloids, as well as facing Vile once and for all...but not before witnessing the fall of his friend.

Sigma's first stage is an epic roller coaster, although quite easy if you bother to play it right. Using a charged-up Chameleon Sting or Rolling Shield when you reach the helicopter-like platforms at the beginning of the stage will greatly drop the frustration factor brought by the pesky Jammingers; however, if you think you can't jump from one platform to the other considerably fast, I recommend using the Rolling Shield instead of the Chameleon Sting. In fact, both the Chameleon Sting and the Rolling Shield prove to be a reliable weapon to use throughout Sigma's stages.

As for the bosses: 1) when facing Vile stick with a weapon of choice and keep moving to avoid his projectiles and him -- you can easily charge a Chameleon Sting and wail on him without having to worry about his onslaught; 2) when facing Boomer Kuwanger just stick to the usual Homing Torpedo strategy and he'll be gone in less than a minute or two; 3) and lastly, the infamous Bospider can be easily defeated with the Shotgun Ice by just staying still and waiting for it to go where you are, dashing away before it hits you.

PS: The Snes9x has problems recording multiple transparencies.
