#Lebanon’s Tiro Arts Association is a nominee for the #AdamowiczAward 2025, recognising the institution as a cultural pioneer striving to make art accessible to all, especially the marginalised, even in conflict areas. The award was created to honour the late mayor of #Gdańsk.
Tiro Arts has restored closed theatres in Tyre, Tripoli and Beirut, transforming them into public cultural venues known as the Lebanese National Theatres that have become centres of discussion, creative learning and freedom of expression. The association also actively advocates for women’s empowerment through the arts.
Created to honour the late Mayor of Gdańsk, the award recognizes those who courageously promote freedom, solidarity and equality.
