In our third episode of “The Social Contrast”, we will be discussing John Cleese’s book “Creativity”. Our reflections on Cleese’s points about creativity mainly review the historical and research examples that John Cleese uses
to support his explanations on how to be creative, as well as helpful tips for reinforcing creativity. T and I will be providing additional examples from brain studies, history, art and education that further support Cleese’s points. In this podcast, we will not be summarizing the entire book; rather, we will review the two most important claims made by John Cleese in his book. In doing so, not only will we be clarifying and supporting Cleese’s explanations about creativity, but we will also attempt to answer the following questions of artistry versus societal norms:

“Can anyone be creative?”
“Why is reflection important to completing work?”
“Are problem solving skills meant to be limited?”
“How necessary is creativity in education?”
“Does pacing matter when utilizing brain power?”
