With the window shut, Grizz looks back on what has been a messy, and at times extremely infuriating summer of business for Liverpool. With lots of umm'ing and ahh'ing going on, Liverpool's new transfer team, that was set to take the market by storm, ended the summer in a limp. From an embarrassing saga with Zubimendi which the whole world laughed at, to many if's, maybe's and but's elsewhere. Liverpool required strengthening in the defensive midfield and central defence position yet only strengthened up front and in the Goalkeeping department. Albeit an exciting couple of signings in Chiesa and Mamardashvili, Liverpool fans remain disgruntled, as the positive business was largely due to the outgoings instead of the incomings.
