I believe most treadmills come with speed display to tell the user how much the speed they are running on.

My NordicTrack treadmill console starts to show the wrong speed.

For example, I used the "Quick Speed" button to increase the speed to 2km/h, but the display only showing 1.2km/h.

When I increase the speed to 8km/h, the display only showing 5km/h.

Based on my previous experience with my beloved treadmill, I knew that the speed value displayed on the console is wrong, as I can physically feel the accurate speed is fast at 8km/h.
