Aqua Narrowboats Virtual Open Day & Factory Tour. May 2020

First broadcast on Facebook Live feed this is the video of our Virtual Open Day 2020. We normally hold an Open Day event twice a year, but with Covid 19 affecting all our lives we decided to make a virtual open day tour for our followers to enjoy whilst at home in Lockdown.

We take you on a tour of our purpose built, narrowboat building facility in Derbyshire UK and show you inside our bespoke narrowboats currently in build for private customers. We also take you on board one of our new canal boats that we hire out for holidays - this narrowboat was completed in late March and will soon join the rest of our luxury narrowboat hire fleet on the water, but we've been unable to launch it whilst still in lockdown.

As well as the tour of the boats we also discuss our sister company Aqua Furnishings and the 'in house' fabrics we design and produce. We make and produce soft furnishings , blinds and curtains for narrowboats and the wider marine and domestic market. We also supply nautical and marine gifts to retailers across the country.

It's our first time producing a live video so apologies about the sound quality - but we'll do better next time! Enjoy...
