Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) Marikina Campaign Rally (Speech)

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte proclaimed the senatorial candidates and guest senatorial candidates of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino – Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) as he attended the political party’s campaign rally at the Marikina Hotel and Convention Center in Marikina City.

In his message, President Duterte conveyed his appreciation to the residents of Marikina City as he won in this part of the country in the 2016 election. He called on the Filipinos to vote for the PDP-Laban’s senatorial and guest candidates who will further support his administration in implementing programs and projects for the betterment of the nation and the people.

Saying that the “Presidency is a gift from God,” the Chief Executive emphasized the importance of law and order, as well as ridding the government of graft and corruption, in order to achieve genuine economic growth and development. He also pushed for federalism, citing that this is what Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari is wishing for the Moro people in Mindanao, during their recent meeting in Malacañan Palace.

An estimated crowd of 9,000 comprising the PDP-Laban local candidates in Marikina City and in Cainta, Taytay, and San Mateo in Rizal province, as well as other political leaders, stakeholders, Marikina City’s shoe makers, Adhikaing Tinataguyod ng Kooperatiba (ATING KOOP) Party List, Chinese Chamber, vendors cooperative, and supporters converged in the campaign sortie.
