This is the first battle on the Yomi path, the final part of the game. All three forces have finally teamed up and tackle the big bad. She starts us off by showing her power of spawning LITERALLY endless phantoms that constantly charge you and your allies. Not to mention the demon horde Yomi has at her beck and call.

So, it's up to you to cut a bloody swath through the massive, respawning army. Just do the missions as they come and try to hold off the advancing army. Once your Bravery is high enough, just make a B-line straight to Sayo and cut her down.

After this stage we're given the option of either going with Tamaki and Shiki or just Setsuna. Either choice will have us split our heroes group and we, the player, will follow our chosen leader and chosen heroes. Just choose all the heroes you like so you can always use the people you want. Your leader changes one stage entirely and alters a few other things down the road.
