Nikon N2000 / F-301 The ‘73 Corvette of cameras?

Описание к видео Nikon N2000 / F-301 The ‘73 Corvette of cameras?

I recently picked up a very clean Nikon N2000. This camera sets perfectly between my Nikon F3 and my Nikon N90s. After picking up a MB-4 AAA battery tray, it seems to work perfectly! I will test this out with a Nikon 50mm f1.8 & a roll of HP5 and see how it goes.

The camera conveniently works with four AAA batteries (with the MB-4 battery tray/cover) or four AA batteries with the MB-3 battery tray/cover)
This was the first Nikon 35mm film SLR to use DX coding for the ASA/ISO. You can manually set the ISO from 12 to 3200
The first to feature auto film loading and advancing, there is no manual film advance lever.
The first to use polycorbonates in the build.

Old features:
No pop-up flash
manual film rewind lever
manual focus

New features:
auto film loading
auto film advance
DX coding for film ISO/ASA

Update: After about 7 frames, the N2000 quit working, I transferred the HP5 to the F3 to finish it off. After swapping out a few sets of AAA batteries, I tossed it in the parts box. I did order a second copy with a 50mm f1.8 in good working order via ebay, arrived with a mis aligned mirror. A third ($10) copy arrived this week and is working fine for now. Loaded up some Superia 400 for a test run.

I was able to end up with a clean, working version of the N2000 and love it!
