All the babies upto 6 months of age has to receive exclusive breast milk without any formula or any solids or any liquids. But in certain condition where the mother does not have enough mother’s milk, if the baby is on formula milk, it is advisable to take the formula milk only upto 6 months because orange juice as such is acidic in nature and if the baby takes it , it may be harmful for the baby as the stomach lining and the intestinal lining are very fragile and it may increase the acidity causing irritation, irritability in the child and maybe even vomiting for the child. There are also children who develops in rashes following intake of citric juices. Usually all the citric juices has to be started only after 8 months or may be after 1 year.
