If you didn't know, Fall is the RIGHT time to plant Cowpeas here in the South. We're in Zone 8b and it's the middle of August, it's HOT but it's time to get dirty! One of the best reasons to grow cowpeas in the fall is the pest pressure is a lot lower this time of year. Plus, you get some good eatin' when you harvest!
