The first-ever NYO Inspire Orchestra met for five days of intensive rehearsals and then went on a five-day secondary school tour around the North West, where they lead workshops, performed Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1, and brought the transformative power of orchestral music to around 1200 teenagers. This is what they got up to after their performance of Shostakovich's First Symphony.
