The International Criminal Court prosecutor will request three arrest warrants for his investigation into killings of pro-democracy demonstrators in Libya and says states should prepare for arrests. Louis Moreno-Ocampo is investigating Muammar Gaddafi, some of his sons and aides over what he called a "predetermined plan" to attack protesters.
Louis Moreno-Ocampo, International Criminal Court , said, "I am planning to present the first case on the Libya situation to the judges of the International Criminal Court. The case will focus on crimes against humanity committed against civilians in Libya. We have the names of three persons, who according to the evidence, are most responsible for these cases. We present the name before the judges, and then the judge will decide."
