The World Bank says that the Afghan economy has been expanding for two consecutive years, and two main factors behind this are low inflation and rising incomes. According to the latest World Bank report, Afghanistan Development Update, Afghanistan's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to grow by 4.3 percent in 2025. In 2024, Afghanistan's GDP was 2.5 percent.
