► This the first ever special documentary in Bengali on great Mongol ruler Berke Khan - Grandson of Genghis Khan- who established Islam in a khanate of the Mongol Empire and had great contributions to the Muslim world.

►► Berke Khan (died 1267) was the ruler of the Golden Horde (division of the Mongol Empire) and effectively consolidated the power of the Blue Horde and White Horde from 1257 to 1266. He succeeded his brother Batu Khan of the Blue Horde (West) and was responsible for the first official establishment of Islam in a khanate of the Mongol Empire. He allied with the Egyptian Mamluks against another Mongol khanate based in Persia, the Ilkhanate. Berke supported Ariq Böke in the Toluid Civil War, but did not intervene militarily in the war.

►► বারকে খান ছিলেন “গোল্ডেন হোর্ড” খানাতের বাদশা ও সম্পর্কে চেঙ্গিস খানের নাতী। তিনি মঙ্গোলদের মধ্যে সর্বপ্রথম ইসলাম গ্রহন করে আল্লাহর জন্য ভালোবাসা ও আল্লাহর জন্যই ঘৃণা তথা “আল ওয়ালা ওয়াল বারা”এর সর্বচ্চ ঈমানী পরীক্ষা দিয়ে ইসলামের জন্য স্বজাতির বিরুদ্ধে তলওয়ার ধরণ করেছিলেন। তৎকালীন উদীয়মান মুসলিম শক্তি মামলুকদের সাথে জোটবদ্ধ হয়ে একনিষ্ঠভাবে ইসলামের খেদমতে আত্মনিয়োগ করেছিলেন। শুধু তাই নয়, পুরো রাজত্বকাল জুড়ে স্বজাতিয় মঙ্গোলদের সকল অনিষ্ঠ থেকে পরম মায়া ও মমতায় আগলে রেখেছিলেন মুসলিম উম্মাহকে।
বাংলা ভাষায় তাকে নিয়ে বানানো এই বিশেষ ডকুমেন্টারিটি আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে বলে আশা করি।
