The goldfields of Central Victoria were among the richest in the world. There are many historic small towns remaining such as Creswick, Clunes and Chewton. Relics and historic sites are a reminder of the busy days of the gold rush. We based ourselves in Daylesford while we explored this fascinating area and finished our tour in Ballarat, one of the biggest of the goldfields townships.There is much more to see in this area so we will explore more in future.
