i had bought Lenovo loq laptop from Lenovo official online store. i had paid money through credit card on 10/02/2024. the laptop was delivered to my address on 28/02/2024 but the invoice which came with the laptop box has a date 26/02/2024. after 1 week of usage i started to observe battery drop even when connected to the charger. i raise a complaint to Lenovo customer service on 18/02/2024. i asked Lenovo team to refund my money as i have found the product to be defective but they denied me refund. they said they do refund only if the complain is raised within 1 week of invoice date. this is really a trap for customer because they don't deliver the laptop on the day of invoice date ,customer doesn't get sufficient time to check for defects if laptop is delivered 3 days after the invoice date and company can escape by saying it doesn't come under their terms and conditions. after raising the ticket they said the adapter which they have sent doesn't match the laptop so they asked me send the details and images of adapter so that they can send me a new adapter. this is a mistake of Lenovo to send me wrong adapter. then after few days due to shortage of adapter they told they wont be sending it now and told me to do a bios update which might fix the issue and if its not fixed even after update they may send the adapter. i update bios as said and started to test for battery drain. the problem was not fixed so i called them back to report the issue. they said to use the laptop with the old adapter till they figure out a solution for this problem. as i was using the laptop with old adapter which came with it , the laptop suddenly shut down without any warning . i was doing really important work and i lost all my valuable data.
i contacted Lenovo team on call and raised a ticket on 31/03/2024 they said to press few buttons but nothing worked. they told me to wait till their part gets delivered to my address so that engineer can fix the issue. i asked them what was going wrong with my laptop why did it occur and what parts are you sending me. they didn't give me any information saying that its confidential. i told them that the laptop which they had sent me is defective from day one and Lenovo didn't do anything to address it even after complaining the issue to them. now the laptop is dead because of Lenovo's fault. so i asked them to refund or replace as their laptop is defective . they denied it completely, they forced me to undergo repair. i literally had to wait 12 days for the parts to reach my location. i was left with a dead laptop not able to do my work. i requested every day to Lenovo that my work is getting affected , i am losing lot of time and money due their defective product so please do a refund or replacement but they never helped me. i even asked for a replacement machine till they fix my laptop but still they denied to help me. i had taken warranty of one year and accidental damage protection of 3 years but still nothing was done to solve my issues. finally engineer came with new mother board , without even looking what was wrong with my laptop he opened the laptop took out old mother board and fixed new one and went off. but after mother board replacement i started face still many more issues like
1. drastic reduction in performance of laptop the,
2.backlight bleed of the screen due which i am not able to work on laptop.
3. Bluetooth connectivity problem with external speakers
4.camera shutter was stuck and wont work
i raised another ticket immediately next day on 13/04/2024 and called the Lenovo team. they fixed only the camera shutter button that's it and rest of the problems still persist. i again called Lenovo team that my problems have not been fixed , the laptop which they have sent was defective rite from the day one and the motherboard which they sent is also defective so please do a refund and take back the laptop or else do a replacement. i even talked with senior escalation manager and he said that there are many people who are having similar issues with the same laptop , there seems to be something wrong with the product so they have escalated the issue to worldwide team to fix it and told me to wait for 6 days. after 6 days when i called back still they don't have a solution for my problem. i asked them that you are not able to fix my problems and you accept that product is defective then why don't you give me refund. i clearly told him that this product is defective from day one. its been fifty days since i bought the laptop still the issues are not fixed. i have lost lot of time and money which cannot be compensated. Lenovo delivered me a defective laptop and failed to fix it even after multiple attempts. i want justice. I want Lenovo to take back their laptop and refund my money.
