Thank you for stopping by and watching our Toyota Camry bumper removal & replacement video. Once you are able to remove one bumper, you can pretty much replace any bumper. Toyota's have phenomenal engineering. It's amazing that a car with this kind of damage only needed the front bumper to be replaced. They are so simple to replace, you can do it quite fast for a first-time DIY job. This install is for the SE, or sport edition bumper but I will also work on the other models. The only difference is the fog lights and lower grilles but the bumper shapes are exactly the same. Do not fear, this works on our L/LE/XLE models.

TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a panel clip removal tool but a flat-head screwdriver will work just fine. You'll need a 10mm wrench or socket wrench. We used an impact gun to make things go faster. Lastly, you'll need a Philips screwdriver.

PROCESS:
We started by removing the side bolts releasing the fender liner from the bumper. Most bumpers will have a bolt securing the fender to the bumper, but this one does not have that. The bumper is clipped onto the bumper retainer/bracket. Before you pull the bumper, you have to remove the bottom and top bolts/clips. There are about 6 bolts on the bottom of the bumper holding the splash shield to the bumper. There are several clips holding the bumper up top. Remove those with your panel clip remover or a flat-head screwdriver. We did not know you can pop off the top grille so easily. The older model Camry's have the grille as part of the bumper. There are 3 clips behind the top grille, so it was a happy accident. Now you can pull the bumper off but don't forget to unplug the fog lights.

Now you want to replace any part that you can from your old bumper to the new one. We transferred everything from our old bumper to our newly painted bumper by (ReveMoto). We did have to get a new passenger lower grille and fog light bezel. All the grilles clip onto the bumper from the backside, so it is very easy. The fog light and bezel also snap in and are secured by screws. Basically, you are working your way backward from the removal process. Do not forget to plug in your fog lights before you completely mount the bumper. Also, the splash shield on the bottom is a bit funny. The splash shield sits on top of the bumper but the bumper prongs go over the splash shield. You just installed your bumper, congratulations!
