Sitaram Yechury's condition critical; he is on respiratory support at AIIMS Delhi: CPI (M)

The general secretary of CPM, Sitaram Yechury is currently in critical condition and receiving respiratory support at AIIMS in New Delhi, according to a statement released by his party on Tuesday. The 72-year-old leader is undergoing treatment for an acute respiratory tract infection in the hospital's ICU. The party further stated that Yechury's condition is being closely monitored by a team of doctors. They emphasised that his condition remains critical at this point.
