Welcome to our 100th video! Today we'll be reviewing a very special watch to mark the occasion, none other than the Rolex Explorer II Polar Ref. 226570.

This is the modern larger 42mm variant, with many of us wishing that Rolex would revert back to the more vintage 40mm sizing. The Polar version we have here is of course the white dial, which seems to be the more striking of the two dial colors. The contrasting on the dial is fantastic, allowing for excellent readability especially with the high visibility orange GMT hand. This watch is considered one of the last true tool watches from Rolex due to the overall brushed and less recognizable appearance.
